= Simple Gravy =

This simple gravy is good in a fix in case you have no gravy mix and need to make your own. Of course the best gravy comes from actual roasted meats, but this is an easy substitute for something like gravy and biscuits. Vegetable bullion works good for vegetarians.

1 cup water
1/4 cup flour
bullion
}}}

Boil 1/2 cup water and add bullion cube
whisk the 1/4 flour in to the other 1/2 cup cold water
add salt and pepper

add the flour/water mixture to the boiling water, and stir until thick.
